Newport Mall features Filipino artwork at Grand Charity Christmas Museum attraction
A Christmas adorned with Filipino art is what Newport Mall is offering this coming Christmas season by unveiling a grand museum attraction in a mall that showcases local creativity.
For the season, the Pasay shopping destination welcomes 12 of the best Filipino artists, galleries, museums and collections in its space, presenting more than 300 works of art in its first Christmas Mall-seum. From November 3, 2021 to January 25, 2022, buyers can explore and immerse themselves in a world of creativity and art with the works of Nemi Miranda, Ram Mallari, Norlie Meimban, Boysie Villavicencio, Badz Magsumbol, Philipp Badon, Nixxio Castrillo , Maria Pureza Escano, Joe Datuin, Blanco Art Museum, Tawid Gallery and Oriental Art of Shambala Silang.
Over the span of 12 weeks, these seasoned artists will also be showcasing their entire collection in their one-week solo exhibition each at 2F, Garden Wing starting November 3. Their artwork will also be displayed in 12 different areas of the mall and hotels during this time.

In the spirit of the season of donations, the shopping center-seum is also a charity event with the proceeds of works of art, which will go on sale via this portal, will be donated to the benefit of Concordia Children’s Services and the San Lorenzo Ruiz Home for the Aged.
As part of Resorts World Manila’s 12th anniversary festivities and the annual Grand Fiesta Manila party, Newport Mall’s Christmas Mall-seum is open to the public from 11 a.m. to 9 p.m. safety protocols including compulsory wearing of face masks and respect for social distancing.
