The Evergreen Gallery hosts a Watermedia exhibition

The Center for the Evergreen Arts, 31880 Rocky Village Drive in Evergreen, hosts the annual Rocky Mountain National Watermedia exhibit until October 30. Steve Griggs was a juror and selected 65 works from 485 nominations. In addition to the traditional transparent watercolor, the paintings are executed in egg tempera, acrylic, gouache and mixed media. The prices were announced on September 24. ‘Print Renaissance’

The Littleton Museum is hosting “Print Renaissance,” an exhibition of prints by mid-century American masters of printmaking, including lithographs and screenprints, until October 16. Artists included in the exhibition include Andy Warhol, Claes Oldenburg, Frank Stella, and Robert Rauschenberg. Pianist Katie Mahan will perform “Rhapsody in Blue” by Gershwin. The program will also include Beethoven’s Egmont Overture and Borodin’s Polovetsian Dances by “Prince Igor”. The exhibition is looking for artists

Entries for the Heritage Fine Arts Guild’s annual “This is Colorado” exhibit will be accepted October 18-22. The jury exhibit will be held at the Colorado Gallery of the Arts at Arapahoe Comunity College from November 29 to December 21. Details: heritage-guild.com.
